15.2 Device Reset
The device may experience a software error which will require a device reset. Turning the device OFF then back ON
will fix these errors.
1. With the device on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. Wait for the green LED around the
power button to turn ON.
2. With the device off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. Wait for the green LED around the
power button to turn ON. The device will restart and display the MolecuLight logo, a MolecuLight screen
saver and then the Login screen
15.3 Device Hard Reset
The device may display a system or communications error that will require a hard device reset.
1. With the device on, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds or until the LED around the power
button flash quickly from green to red.
2. Press and hold the power button for 4 seconds or until the LED flash slowly from green to red.
3. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds or until the LED turn to solid orange.
4. Press the power button for 1 second. The LED will turn green, flash 2-3 times then the device will
shutdown.
5. To turn the device back on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The device will restart and
display the MolecuLight logo, a MolecuLight screen saver and then the Login screen.
15.4 Setting Up Wi-Fi
When enabling the Wi-Fi for your current location, several additional screens are provided for Wi-Fi setup.
Speak to your IT Administrator to provide the details required to setup your Wi-Fi successfully.
1. Log into the device as an Administrator.
2. On the User Directory, tap the more menu.
3. On the menu, tap the Settings option.
4. On the Settings screen, tap the Wi-Fi arrow.
5. A Wi-Fi screen will be displayed.
