LAN (PoE)
The $3+; requires a Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection. If
your wall socket does not already have a PoE connection, then you
must insert an Ethernet cable into the wall socket, and connect one
end of the cable to a port on your PoE switch.
The following steps describe how to install the $3+; into a wall
socket:
Step 1:
Unscrew the existing face plate or device and remove it from the wall
socket.
Step 2:
Slide the $3+; into the bracket.
Step 3:
Connect the Ethernet cable to the LAN (PoE) port on the back panel
of the $3+;. If there is an RJ-11 cable, connect it to the RJ-11
(phone) port.
