4.1 System Configuration
This section includes the following functions: System Information, Network Settings and Management Services.
4.1.1 System Information
 System Information
For the purpose of maintenance, it is required to specify the system name, its location and corresponding basic
parameters. Fields such as Name, Description and Location are us ed for mnemonic purpose. It is
recommended to have different values in each AP.
 Name: The sys tem name used to identify this s ys tem
 Description: Further information about this installation
 Location: The geographic location
 Time
Synchronize the system time either by using NTP server or by manual setup. When NTP ser ver is used, the
information of at least one NTP server mus t be provided. If FQDN (full qualified domain name) is used as the
IP address of NTP server, the DNS server must also be activated (p lease refer to 4 .1.2 Net work Settings).
 Device Time: Current system time
 Time Zone: Select a time zone from the drop-down list box
 Synchroniz ation: There are two options of setting system time
