“red/yellowtag”intheHandheld.

Cleaning Up the Work Area
Cleanupallinstallationtools,equipmentanddebris.Turnoffanylightsthatyou
mayhaveturnedon.Restorethecustomerpremisetothepre‐visitcondition.
Exiting the Premise
1Doalastchecktoensurethatyouhaveallofyourequipmentandtools.
2 Thankthecustomerforallowingustoservicetheirgasmeter,exitthe
premise,andprovidethecustomerwithadoorhanger.
MODULE RETROFIT (INDEX OR REGISTER) REPLACEMENT
RefertoChapter 5,ResidentialMeterModuleRetrofitorChapter 6,Commercialand
IndustrialMeterModuleInstallation.
CUSTOMER SKIP OR CANCELLATION
Ifthecustomerʹsexistingconditionsdonotqualifyfornewmeterinstallation
notifyyourSupervisor.WaitatthesiteuntilyourSupervisorarrivesforfurther
instructions.If,intheSupervisorʹsopinion,theconditionofthecustomerʹs
existingservicepipingorappliancesissuchthatsignificantdamagewouldresult
fromatt
e
mptingtoremoveandreplacetheexistinggasmeter,yourSupervisor
willsoinformtheUtilityofthecondition.TheSupervisorwilladviseyouto:
• Informthecustomerastowhythechange‐outwillnottakeplace.
•Documentsituationinhandheld.
•Directyoutoyournextappointment.
