Client Cluster
A bitmap that indicates which clusters are supported as clients on the HAN
device. This Landis+Gyr proprietary design optimizes HAN communication.
HAN sub-tabs
Device Provisioning
Use this tab to associate (pair, or marry) a HAN device to the meter. This
step is required to enable communication exchanges between HAN
devices.
Load Control
Use this tab to send load adjustment commands to HAN devices, including
thermostats, other energy-consuming appliances, or load control devices.
(load control devices adjust temperature, or cycle devices on and off).
Event History Displays HAN settings that have been made or changed.
Publish Price (this tab only
appears for meters running
HAN firmware v1.5.x and
higher)
This Gridstream command (defined by Landis+Gyr, not the ZigBee Smart
Energy Profile Specification) is the proprietary method by which Gridstream
makes pricing information available to the customer.
Messaging Enables sending a text message to the remote HAN device.
Troubleshooting
Provides simple testing options, including configuration queries, for the
internal ZigBee module. Also provides for custom HAN settings.
FAT Test
As a quick way to test a ZigBee module, this test is used for meter shop
sample testing to verify proper RF and HAN communication capability.
The First Article Test can only be run without an active HAN. This function is
used in combination with either “black box” equipment or by using a
ZigBee-enabled device (such as the ecoMeter) to test the communications
channel via the “join and un-join” action.
In order to use the HAN functionality within ETM, a HAN Initialization
Command must be successfully completed via Command Center before
ETM can be used to operate and manage the HAN. Please see Customer
Service Update 98-1217 for more details.
