NOTE: Replace the base plate with American Meter part number 48828P038. Install a new base
plate gasket if the original gasket cannot be reused. The base plate must be installed with the
American Meter model numbers facing toward the front of the meter.

4. If the meter has an existing Commercial Gas Module, perform the following steps.
A. Remove the index cover tamper seals.
B. Remove the module bracket tamper seals.
