LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client
Preface
Preface
What is “LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client”?
Free-of-charge Internet telephony services and the widespread use of Voice
over IP technologies have aroused tremendous interest in private and
business customers alike. With the popularity of broadband services in the
private and public domain, the obvious appeal of cheap or even free
telephone calls via the Internet or public IP telephony services is rapidly
growing. LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client is an innovative, PC-based
telephony application which can be used equally by private and business
customers for simple and fast utilization of Internet telephony. The software
uses the SIP protocol and offers users an independent PC application with
extensive service features, such as are otherwise only known in company
telephone systems.
