7.4.6 Disable Secondary Call
If you are telephoning, incoming calls will normally be signaled by a call-
waiting tone. Activate “Disable Secondary Call” in order to prevent the
signaling of further calls.
If this function is activated (indicated by the activated button), the caller will
either hear the busy signal or his call will be forwarded, if Forward if busy has
been defined (see also chapter 7.4.15,
Forwarding, page 109
).
This is how you prevent a secondary call
You have several options:
Click on the button “Disable Secondary Call”.
or
Go to the menu bar and click on “Settings | Disable Secondary Call”.
or
Click with the right mouse button on the LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client user
interface.
The shortcut menu will appear.
Click on “Settings | Disable Secondary Call”.
Call this function again in order to permit secondary calls once again. The check mark
will then disappear.
7.4.7 Hide Number
When you call a subscriber, your telephone number will be displayed there (if
the opposite terminal supports this capability).
If Hide Number is activated (indicated by the activated button), your
telephone number will not be transmitted to the person being called.
This is how you prevent your number from being transmitted
You have several options:
Click on the button “Hide Number”.
or
Go to the menu bar and click on “Settings | Hide Number”.
or
Click with the right mouse button on the LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client user
interface.
The shortcut menu will appear.
Click on “Settings | Hide Number”.
