4The Layout of the LANCOM Advanced VoIP
Client Interface
This chapter will familiarize you with the elements of the LANCOM Advanced
VoIP Client user interface.
In this documentation the standard user interface (Skin "LANCOMclassicXT"),
which is installed during the initial installation of LANCOM Advanced VoIP
Client, is used as an example.
Later, you may also choose to work with one of the other supplied interfaces
or an interface (Skin) which you have customized yourself to meet your
requirements. However, in order to become acquainted with LANCOM
Advanced VoIP Client, you should first try out this Standard Skin, which
contains all of the important control options.
4.1 Menus
You can control and configure LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client using the
menus. For further information please refer to chapter 7.2,
LANCOM
Advanced VoIP Client Menus
,page61.
The way you call the menus depends on the type of Skin (user interface) you
implement.
If the Skin used is in “non-transparent” mode, it will be framed by a window
and it will have a menu bar on the upper border of the window.
