Symbols on the Taskbar and in the Tray
App. A: Symbols on the Taskbar and in the Tray
Certain states and processes for LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client are signaled
on the Windows taskbar or in the tray. You will find an overview here of the
symbols used, and their significance.
The display of certain symbols (e.g. the behavior after the LANCOM Advanced
VoIP Client window is minimized) can be adjusted in the user settings.
Example:
Taskbar:
LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client is started, or the LANCOM Advanced VoIP
Client window is opened (depending on the setting).
Tray:
LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client is logged on.

registered. You can make phone calls
and you can be called.
Tray The handset is off

VoIP Client is logged
off
LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client is started
and there is no SIP account activated/
registered. You cannot telephone and
cannot be called.
Tray CallList You have a new call.
Tray You are being called You can now lift the receiver and speak
to the caller. (Only if "Call notification
with tray icon" is active in the user
profile.)
