LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client
Installing and Uninstalling LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client
햵 Enter your SIP-URI (e.g. Jones@Lancom.com) in the fields "Own Number (URI)".
햶 If necessary, enter the STUN server and the corresponding port.
It is only necessary to give a STUN server if a firewall has to be bypassed.
햷 If you want to use ENUM, activate the checkbox "Enable ENUM".
If peer-to-peer and ENUM are enabled, an attempt is made to associate a
number to a SIP-URI. If this association is not possible, the call is set up via
one of your configured SIP accounts.
If the association with a SIP-URI is successful, or if a SIP-URI was used
instead of a "classic" call number, the call is set up via a SIP account with a
matching realm (usually the same provider) if possible. A precondition for
this is that you have used the option "Automatic" in the line configuration for
outgoing calls.
If you have configured a specific SIP account on the line for outgoing calls,
the defined account is always used.
Selection of a provider (SIP account)
If you have more than one SIP account, the SIP account for outgoing calls is
selected according to your line configuration and ENUM and peer-to-peer
configuration, by the following criteria:
A) Peer-to-peer and ENUM are enabled:
Line for outgoing calls configured to "Automatic"
A1) Input of a number (canonical or non-canonical)
ENUM resolution to URI successful? > continue with A2) "Input of a
URI"
ENUM resolution not successful? > number is dialed via any (the first)
registered account. If no account is registered, the number is not
dialed, and there is a corresponding error message.
A2) Input of a URI
There is a registered account with matching realm? > Dial via matching
account
There is no registered account with matching realm? > Direct
connection setup via proxy of the realm included in the URI.
Line for outgoing calls configured to the peer-to-peer number/URI
A3) Input of a number (regardless of whether canonical or not)
ENUM resolution to URI successful? > continue with A4) "Input of a
URI"
