9.3 LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client - Installation of the
Software
LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client is distinguished by easy and user-friendly
install and uninstall processes, which can be carried out quickly with basic
knowledge of Windows.
9.3.1 Installation
The installation is carried out with the help of the standard buttons “< Back”,
“Next >” and “Cancel”. If you would like to change entries in a previous
window, click on “< Back” until you come to the window you want, change
your entries, and then continue by clicking on “Next >”. If you would like to
stop the installation, click on “Cancel”.
For the installation of LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client using the
Windows 2000/XP Professional operating system, you will need
administrator rights on the PC.

Close Microsoft Outlook before beginning the installation.
If Outlook is not closed, it is possible that not all components will be correctly
installed.
햳 Start the installation by inserting the installation CD, or double-click in the
installation directory on the file "LANCOM Advanced VoIP
ClientEnglishUK.msi". If you carry out the installation from the CD, a start page
appears, from which you can start the installation. If you start the MSI file
directly, the installation wizard is started at once.
햴 Please follow these instruction and then click on “Next >”.

You have several options:
 Activate the checkbox “I accept the license agreement.” And click on
“Next >”.
 If you do not accept the license agreement, stop the installation by clicking
on "Cancel".
