LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client
What is meant by…?
1.8 Call Swap
Call swapping is when you switch between an active call and one or more
calls on hold. When you do this, the currently active call will be put on hold
and the call previously on hold will become active.
1.9 Acoustic Signals
The following table provides a brief overview of the most important acoustic
signals and their meaning.
1.10 Skin
Skin is the name for your telephone display on the screen (Desktop). You can
design the appearance of your LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client software on
the computer screen (shape, background image and texts) according to your
own personal tastes (modifiable user interface).
Using Drop & Drag, you can combine exactly those telephone functions
which you need for your every-day work. You can add new Speed Dials or
change the configuration or the labels of these buttons with just a click of
the mouse. All elements of the user interface can be arranged to fit your
individual way of working. LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client is, therefore, the
customized telephony solution for a wide variety of different workplaces.
In addition to flexibility in the functional design, LANCOM Advanced VoIP
Client provides the option of customizing the interface according to your
personal tastes. The color, size and appearance of the “buttons” can be
changed, or you can add any background image you want. The Skin can be
designed to include corporate identity aspects or according to your own
individual ideas. These changes can be quickly and easily implemented using
the integrated Skin Editor.
