햸 When you switch on the option “Also signal incoming call using internal PC
speaker”, a signal will also be produced over the PC speakers, in addition to the
telephone ring for incoming calls which is played using the soundcard.
This is particularly helpful if you use a LANCOM VoIP Client Headset but you do
not constantly wear it.
햹 Under „Voice Compression“, you can select the compression type. If you use
compression, the amount of data to be transmitted is reduced - however, this
can lead to lesser quality. The following voice compression settings are
available:
 Never: No compression will be used.
 Always (Home Office): Compression is always used.
 Prefer uncompressed (Default): No compression, if possible. Compression is
only used, if the opposite terminal supports compressed calls only, or if the
caller prefers compression.
 Prefer compressed (Low bandwidth): Compression is used, if possible.
Compression is not used, if the opposite terminal supports uncompressed
calls only, or if the caller prefers no compression.
