If the former is the case, then the packets with tagged or untagged
will be processed. If the later is the case, only the packets carrying
VLAN tag will be processed, the rest packets will be discarded.
4.9.4 Port-based Group
쮿 Function name: Port-based Group Configuration
쮿 Function Description: It shows the information of the existed Port-based
VLAN Groups. You can easily create, edit and delete a Port-based VLAN
group by pressing <Add>, <Edit> and <Delete> function buttons. User
can add a new VLAN group by inputting a new VLAN name.
쮿 Parameter Description:
왏 VLAN Name: The name defined by administrator is associated with a
VLAN group. Valid letters are A-Z, a-z, 0-9, “
- “ and “_” characters.
The maximal length is 15 characters.
왏 Member: This is used to enable or disable if a port is a member of the
new added VLAN, “Enable” means it is a member of the VLAN. Just
tick the check box beside the port x to enable it.
왏 Add Group: Create a new Port-based VLAN. Input the VLAN name and
choose the member by ticking the check box beside the port No.,
then, press the <Apply> button to have the setting taken effect.
