5. Further Features of the LAMAX GPS Locator
1) Monitored areas
In the LAMAX Tracking application it is possible to set „Monitored areas“ (Menu → Device
Geofence). After visiting or leaving the set monitored area, the user of the application will
receive a notification about this event. For more information on setting this function, refer to
the LAMAX Tracking instructions.
2) Whitelist
By setting up the phonebook in the LAMAX Tracking mobile application (Menu → Current
device settings → Whitelist) you add the option to call the locator from the entered numbers.
Set „Administrator phone number“ if you want to block incoming calls from numbers that are
not in the contact list (Menu → Current device settings → Administrator phone number).
If you do not set an „Administrator phone number“, you can call the device from any phone
number.
IMPORTANT WARNING
As part of the initial setup of the application, do not forget to enter your and other necessary
phone numbers in the LAMAX Tracking application (Menu → Current device settings →
Whitelist), otherwise you will not be able to call the LAMAX GPS Locator.
Do not forget to fill in the SOS contacts for the correct functionality of the SOS function, see
4.2. (Menu → Current device settings → Default SOS contacts)
3) Do not disturb / school mode
By activating the „Do not disturb / school mode“ in the LAMAX Tracking application (Menu
→ Current device settings → Do not disturb), the functionality of the device is reduced at
set time intervals (e.g.: teaching time/after-school activities) to just using the „SOS button“
and the device cannot be called. This feature can be turned off at any time by deleting time
intervals.
4) Finding the device
With the „Find device“ feature, you can easily locate a device you cannot find. After activating
this function in the LAMAX Tracking mobile application (Menu → Current device settings →
Find a locator), the device will start ringing.
