2. Getting Started
– Insert the Nano SIM card into the device as shown below.

Unscrew the screw on the
plastic protective cover
on the body of the device
(Figs. 1 and 2).
Pull to unlock and open the metal cover located in the Nano SIM slot.
Insert the Nano SIM card (Fig. 3) with the chip towards the device accor-
ding to the cut corner of the SIM card and the layout of the SIM slot. After
inserting the SIM card, close the metal cover and pull to lock it. Then screw
the plastic protective cover back on.
– Turn on the device by holding the „SOS button“ for at least 5 seconds.
– If the blue LED is off or has stopped, proceed to the next section Installing the LAMAX
Tracking application and Registration.
IMPORTANT WARNING
– The SIM card must have a disabled PIN code and an activated data plan.
If you are unsure,
you can verify the functionality on your mobile phone.
– To receive calls on the device, it is necessary to set contacts in the LAMAX Tracking mobile
application.
– Do not open, repair, or disassemble the device other than as instructed in this manual.
Unauthorized handling of the device will void the warranty.
