LAKOS Automatic Controller Conguration
For automatic systems only.
Followallinstructionsincludedwiththecontrollerforproperinstallationandset-up.Notethatthe
followingsettingsmustbeveriedbeforeoperatingthiscontroller.Eachofthesesettingscanbe
foundonthebacksideoftheinnercontrolpanel.
Output Voltage
SelectACif24VACsolenoidsareusedonyourbackwashvalves.
SelectDC/DCLifyoursolenoidsareeither12VDCor12VDCLatching.IfpowersupplyisDC/ 
solar,controllerassumesthatDCLsolenoidsareinuse.
IMPORTANT: Do not mix the type of solenoids in your system. All solenoids must be the
same type (24VAC, 12VDC or 12VDC Latching).
Number of Tanks in Operation
 Attachingsolenoidwiringtotheterminalblocksigniesthenumberoftanksoperatinginthesystem.
Pre-Dwell - A set time of 30 seconds for sustained pressure differential (from inlet to outlet) before
controllerinitiatesabackwashcycle.
Dwell-Time - Settimeof60secondsbetweenbackwashingoftanksinasystem.
