Hands-free system
1. Activate Bluetooth
®
on the mobile phone.
(Please refer to the mobile phone opera-
ting instructions.)
2. Turn the ignition key to position 1 or 2.
(Please refer to the vehicle Owner's Manual.)
The hands-free system is activated.
3. In the main menu, select User management.
4. Select New user.
All available mobile phones are displayed.
5. To establish a connection, select the desi-
red mobile phone from the list.
A Bluetooth
®
PIN appears in the hands-
free system display.
6. When asked to do so, enter the Bluetooth
®
PIN on the mobile phone.
7. Accept the request for connection.
8. Enter the initials of the user or of the mobile
phone.
After a connection has been established, the
mobile phone's phone book is automatically
transferred to the hands-free system.
Note
If the desired mobile phone is not displayed,
select Pair through tel. instead and
search for Bluetooth
®
devices on the mobile
phone. (Please refer to the mobile phone ope-
rating instructions.) The hands-free system is
recognised via Bluetooth
®
as a smart BT or
MB Bluetooth.
Note
A maximum of 10 mobile phones can be
paired with the hands-free system, but only
one is connected at any one time.
After a connection has been established, the
functions supported by the mobile phone are
available in the main menu.
