factory-fitted radio or navigation-system are not switched off until the switch-off time has passed
(factory setting approx. 15 minutes).
In some cases, the mobile telephone must be switched off to prevent the mobile telephone from dial-
ling into the mobile telephone network again.
Adjusting the volume
First read and observe the safety warnings on page 3 and the introductory information
and safety warnings on page 10.
The volume can be adjusted with the volume control of the radio or navigation system, or with the
buttons on the multifunction steering wheel page 7.
But on some mobile telephones, the volume of the mobile telephone provision can be adjusted using
the corresponding buttons on the telephone.
Radio
If the radio is switched off and the ignition is switched on, the radio will be switched on automatically
via the mobile telephone provision when a call is made or received.
The radio broadcast or other music source is muted during an incoming or outgoing call so that the call
is not disturbed by unnecessary background noise.
You can adjust the volume of the call with the radio volume control.
Navigation system
If route guidance has been started, voice navigation instructions will continue during a telephone call.

External audio source connected via Bluetooth

The media player can also be operated via the voice control function

page 23. This is possible if
the mobile telephone supports the Bluetooth profile Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP). On
some mobile telephones, you first need to start the telephone's media player function before it can be
operated by voice control

or via the factory-fitted radio or radio-navigation system.
Connecting a paired mobile telephone as a media player
A mobile telephone you have already paired can also be connected as a media player as described
below.
Open the telephone menu on the instrument cluster display.
Switch to the Bluetooth menu page 33.
Switch to Media player and select Paired devices.
Select the mobile telephone you wish to use as a media player and select Connect.
