PREMIUM mobile telephone provision 43
Function Explanation
User
Connect existing users and rename or delete user profiles. When changing users,
it may be necessary to respond to connection prompts on the mobile telephone and
a request to enter the PIN on the combi-instrument display  page 30.
New user
Select New user to start the device search for compatible Bluetooth mobile tele-
phones. If you attempt to pair another “unknown” mobile telephone, the system
will check whether three user profiles already exist. As a maximum of three user
profiles can be stored, you may have to delete a user profile first. Then continue
with the remaining steps of the pairing procedure  page 28.
Visibility
The PREMIUM mobile telephone provision must be set to visible to receive busi-
ness cards ( page 40) or calendar notes ( table on page 42) via Bluetooth. This
is also necessary to connect the PREMIUM mobile telephone provision to a com-
patible computer for use as a modem. The visibility function will be switched off
automatically after three minutes.
If the Bluetooth headset does not automatically connect with the PREMIUM mo-
bile telephone provision when the headset is switched on, select the following items
from the Bluetooth menu.
Headset
Paired devi-

Select the command and the required headset to connect it.
Active device
Display a connected headset or disconnect it.
Paired devi-
ces
Connect via Bluetooth to a headset that has already been paired,
change the Bluetooth name, delete the device pairing or set the
authorisation.
Authorisation
Automatic connection between the PREMIUM mobile telephone
provision and the headset without having to reconfirm the con-
nection.

Search
Search for new headset devices in the Bluetooth range and then
pair these devices.
With a compatible computer, you can use the PREMIUM mobile telephone provi-
sion as a modem to connect to the Internet. For this function, select the following
menu items from the Bluetooth menu:
Active device
Display a connected computer or disconnect it.
Paired devi-
ces
Connect via Bluetooth to a computer that has already been pai-
red, change the Bluetooth name, delete the device pairing or set
the authorisation.
Authorisation
Automatic connection between the PREMIUM mobile telephone
provision and the modem without having to reconfirm the con-
nection.
Accessories –

Search
Search for new devices in the Bluetooth range and then pair these
devices.
Telephone
name
You can give the PREMIUM mobile telephone provision a name of your choice.
When the PREMIUM mobile telephone provision is set to visible, its name will be
displayed on other Bluetooth devices following a device search.
