Basic telephone screen menu
 First read and observe the safety warnings on page 14 and the information on page 37.
The basic telephone screen displays various items of status information on the PREMIUM mobile
telephone provision:
Symbol Meaning

Indicates an existing Bluetooth connection to a mobile telephone.

Bluetooth is set to visible.

Connection to a Bluetooth headset.

Current GPRS connection.
Telephone book menu
 First read and observe the safety warnings on page 14 and the information on page 37.
The displayed telephone book is a copy of the telephone book from the mobile telephone.
Function Steps
Dialling a number from a
telephone book entry
– In the telephone menu, select the telephone book.
– Use the buttons  and  to select the required telephone book
entry. Press and hold the buttons to scroll through the book by letter.
– Alternatively: Using the vehicle keypad, enter the first (up to a maxi-
mum of six) letters of the required telephone book entry in order to go
directly to the entry.
– Select the required number (: mobile, : work, : private, : general
number).
– Confirm your selection or select the menu item Call. The number will
be dialled.
