PREMIUM mobile telephone provision 32

You can dial a number by entering it directly, using the telephone book, using a call list, using the speed

dial function or using voice control.

Entering and dialling a number

This cannot be done while the telephone book is displayed.

 In the TELEPHONE menu, select and confirm the menu item Dial. Enter the telephone number you

wish to call.

 Alternatively: Enter the telephone number you wish to call on the vehicle keypad.

 Press the  or  button on the multi-function steering wheel  page 18 or the three-button

module  page 20. The number will be dialled.

Dialling an entry from the telephone book

 In the TELEPHONE menu, select and confirm the menu item Telephone book.

 Alternatively: Press the C button on the vehicle keypad.

 Mark and confirm the desired entry in the telephone book. If the entry has more than one number,

select and confirm the number you require.

 Alternatively: Using the vehicle keypad, enter the first (up to a maximum of six) letters of the required

telephone book entry in order to go directly to the entry.

 Confirm this selection.

 Press the  or  button on the multi-function steering wheel  page 18 or the three-button

module  page 20. The number will be dialled.

Dialling a number from one of the call lists

 In the TELEPHONE menu, select the menu item Call lists, select the desired call list and confirm

your selection.

 Mark and confirm an entry in the call list. The number will be dialled.

Dialling a number with speed dial

 Press and hold a button on the vehicle keypad  page 20 which has been assigned a speed dial num-

ber. The number will be dialled.

Dialling a number using voice control

 Press the  or  button on the multi-function steering wheel  page 18 or the three-button

module  page 20 to activate the voice control function  page 34.

 Say the voice command  page 36.

Answering, rejecting or ending a telephone call

 First read and observe the safety warnings on page 14 and the information on page 31.

You can answer or reject an incoming call, or end an active call using the multi-function steering wheel,

the three-button module or the vehicle keypad.
