Depending on the vehicle, a bracket (base plate) for the charging base with or without buttons for infor-
mation call and breakdown call is installed on the dash panel or in the armrest between the front seats.
The charging base (telephone holder) is inserted into the bracket for the charging base and clicks into
place. To remove the charging base from the bracket, press the release button on the side.
Using the i and  buttons, you can call the breakdown and service centre of the Volkswagen Service
Call Centre. The system automatically connects you with the service centre of your home country.

Information call
Information on the Volkswagen brand and on
selected value-added services relating to traffic and
travel  page 25.
Press  for longer
than two seconds.
Breakdown call
Assistance in the event of a breakdown from the

Important steps for the use of the
mobile telephone provision
Checklist
Before using (pairing) for the first time
 Switch on the mobile telephone with Bluetooth.
 Activate Bluetooth on the mobile telephone.
 Close any Bluetooth connections on the mobile telephone that are still active, i.e. that switch on
automatically.
 Deactivate the keypad lock and screensaver on the mobile telephone.
 Make the mobile telephone provision visible to Bluetooth devices.
