Product Use
The Large (Model 01293) and Small (Model 01294) Bone Calipers are sliding anthropometric
calipers used to measure a straight-line distance between two landmarks (with an accuracy
of 1 mm).
The subject being measured should wear minimal clothing and measurements should be
taken from the right side of the body. Identify and mark all anatomical sites to be measured;
grip the ends of C-shaped branches with the caliper arms resting against the forearms. Apply
pressure to the branches moving the arm ends to the desired landmarks and read the scale
along the base of the caliper to the nearest centimeter.
