Installation Instructions for Self-rimming Sinks
1. Use a template to draw the cutout line on the
countertop. If there is no template provided,
then prepare your own template by placing
the bowl upside down on a rigid sheet of paper
and tracing around the outside edge.
Then draw a second line ¾” inside that line, and
use this as your cut line. Then make the cutout
on the paper template and test the fit on the sink.
2. If the prepared template fits well with the sink, trace
the cutout on the countetop in the desired location
and perform the cutout.
3. Install the drain assembly onto the sink. If the faucet is
to be installed onto the actual sink, then install the faucet
too. Otherwise just turn the sink upside down and apply
a small bead of silicone on the underside of the molded lip.
4. Turn the sink over and carefully align with the cutout.
Then press firmly around the edge of the sink to create
a tight seal. Once the adhesive has set, then apply
a bead of latex caulk around the edge and smooth out.
