The Protector evidence drying cabinet operates using the following
principles:
• Directional airflow.
• Prefiltration of large particulates by an inlet prefilter (in the door) and
an exhaust prefilter (in the top of the liner).
• Filtration and retention of particulates by a High Efficiency
Particulate Air (HEPA) filter.
• Adsorption of organic (odorous) chemicals by a granular activated
carbon filter.
The major components in the cabinet are:
• The prefilters
• The blower to force air through the cabinet
• The HEPA filter
• The granular activated carbon filter
