20.9 LoadSmart Tab
The LoadSmart page is selected by tapping the LoadSmart tab in Module view. LoadSmart loudspeaker
verication is initiated from this tab. LoadSmart generates a test signal which is applied to the power output
stage. Measurements are taken at the power output stage, and the results computed for the speaker type,
using data from the Fingerprint. It is specied in the LoadLibrary documentation which SpeakerPresets have
Fingerprint data.
The LoadSmart tab is disabled if ngerprint data is
not present, and also when the Lake-enabled
amplier is in Standby mode.
Some LoadLibrary SpeakerPresets do not have
associated Fingerprint data.
The LoadSmart tab allows editing of default cable data in the Fingerprint, including cable characteristics that
are used in the calculation of the total cable resistance for each loudspeaker. The Lake Controller application
combines this information with the known loudspeaker characteristics contained in the ngerprint to ac-
curately verify the load and to conrm correct loudspeaker system operation.
