Battery Life: Radio is always listening for the alerts. When the radio is silenced in STAND
BY, the battery can last approximately 1 day. When radio is off, battery will last about 6

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
 Do not mix old and new batteries
 Do not mix Alkaline, Standard, Lithium or Rechargeable Batteries
 Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended
use.
 Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
 Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery
installation.
 Ensure the batteries are installed with correct polarity (+and -).
 Remove batteries from equipment with is not to be used for an extended period
of time.
 Remove used batteries promptly.
 Extreme temperatures, vibration, and shock should be avoided to prevent
damage to the radio.
 Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents; they may
mark the radio.
 Do not submerge the weather radio in water.
 Opening the casing invalidates the warranty.
 Do not try to repair the unit.
 Do not leave in vehicle in extreme temperatures.
 Radio is not waterproof.
