1.0 INTRODUCTION The DA82 is a compact distribution amplifier, configurable for mono (1x8) or stereo (2x4) operation. Each input and output is switchable between calibrated and uncalibrated mode, allowing instant adjustment of input sensitivity and output level. All inputs and outputs are electronically balanced on XLR's . The DA82 is ideal for O.B. vans, sound reinforcment systems, theatres and any application where its ease of installation and setup will be greatly appreciated.

3.0 INSTALLATION IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION BEFORE USING THE DA82 3.1 INSPECTION AND UNPACKING The DA82 has been carefully packed at our factory in a carton designed to withstand handling in transit. Should the unit appear to have been damaged in transit, do not discard any of the packing material and notify the carrier immediately as it is he who is responsible.
4.0 DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS 1. Cal/Uncal switch. Switches gain control between pot and trimmer adjustment. 2. Cal trimmer adjustment for input gain, ranging from –6 to +6dB. Requires a flat-bladed screwdriver. 3. Uncal potentiometer adjustment for input gain, ranging from –6 to +6 dB. 4. Stereo/Mono mode switch: In stereo mode, input A is routed to odd numbered outputs, while input B is routed to even numbers. Mono mode feeds input A only to all eight outputs.
5.0 WARRANTY Your LA Audio DA82 has been manufactured to a high standard using quality components. If correctly installed and operated the unit should give years of problem free operation. However in the event of a defect in material or workmanship causing failure of the unit within one year of the date of original purchase we will agree to repair, or at our discretion replace, any defective item without charge for labour or parts.
