Hold the phone with the back facing you and pull downwards to slide the battery cover open. 2. Lift the cover off. 3. Note: The more bars you see in this symbol, the stronger the signal. If there are no bars, move to where the signal strength is better. 2. Enter the phone number. 3. Press . 4. When you are finished, press to end the call. Redialing a number To redial the last number called, received, or missed, press twice.

Text entry modes There are six text entry modes: • Numbers only • Normal alpha ABC, abc, Abc • Rapid Entry EN (EN, En, en) or SP (SP, Sp, sp) • Add Symbols Note: The mode you start in depends on the task you are doing. For example, when entering a phone number, you’re in number mode.

For example, to enter numbers in an email address while in ABC mode, you must change to 123 mode, enter the numbers, and then change back to ABC mode to complete the address. For details, check with your service provider. Multimedia messages have a predetermined character and file size limit. When you reach the character and file size limit for a single multimedia message, you must edit the message to meet the size limitation.

The icon looks like an empty box. Checking available memory The amount of available memory depends on the number of applications you downloaded.

Adjusting voice volume You can adjust voice volume manually during a call. Press on the left side of the phone, then press left or right to adjust the volume. You cannot receive voice calls while the phone is in data/fax mode. To receive data or faxes, you must connect the phone to a laptop or PC and switch the phone from voice mode to data/fax mode. See “Setting up the camera for photos” on this page. • All photos are automatically saved in the Camera Photos folder.
