From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Wireless & networks > Tethering & Mobile Hotspot > Mobile Hotspot >
Mobile Hotspot.
Highlight On and press the Center soft key [Set]. 2.
 If your phone's mobile data access is not enabled, you will be prompted to turn it on.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
 The first time you turn it on, you will be prompted to set up Mobile Hotspot.

Set Up Mobile Hotspot
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Wireless & networks > Tethering & Mobile Hotspot > Mobile Hotspot >
Set up Mobile Hotspot.
Highlight the Network name field and enter a new network name. 2.
If you want to hide your phone’s hotspot from others, highlight the box next to Hide my

device and press the Left soft key [Check].
Highlight the Security field and verify the security level is set to WPA2 PSK. To modify it, 4.
press the Left soft key [Set].
Highlight the Password field and enter a new password. The password must have at 5.
least 8 characters.
Highlight the Broadcast channel field, press the Left soft key [Set], and then 6.
select the channel number from the list.
Press the Center soft key [Save]. 7.
If the Mobile Hotspot is not turned on yet, select Mobile Hotspot, highlight On, and then 8.
press the Center soft key [Set].
Confirm the Hotspot active icon appears at the top of the screen. 9.
Note: The best way to keep using the phone as a hotspot is to have it connected to a power
supply.
