Unmount SD Card
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Phone settings > Storage.
Scroll down the screen, highlight Unmount SD card, and then press the Center soft key 2.
[Select].
Press the Left soft key [Yes]. 3.
Format microSD Card
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Phone settings > Storage.
Scroll down the screen, highlight Erase SD card, and then press the Center soft key 2.
[Select].
Read the disclaimer, and press the Center soft key [OK]. 3.
Enter your screen lock code or password if prompted, and then press the Left soft key 4.
[Yes].
CAUTION! The formatting procedure erases all the data on the microSD card, after which
the files CANNOT be retrieved. To prevent the loss of important data, please
check the contents before you format the card.
Use the Phone’s microSD Card as a Media Device
Connect the phone to your computer using the supplied USB cable. 1.
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Notifications. 2.
Highlight the USB mode notification and press the Center soft key [Select]. 3.
Select Media device (MTP) and press the Center soft key [Set]. See USB Mode. 4.
On your computer, the connected phone is recognized as a portable media device. 5.
Navigate to the device and select SD card.
Manage the data as you wish, unmount the phone as required by your computer's 6.
operating system to safely remove your phone, and disconnect the phone from the
computer.
