2. From the Maps main screen, touch
Maps
on the top left of the screen, and then touch
Join Latitude

3. A description of Location Sharing will appear. To continue, touch
Share location with
family or friends
.
4. Read the privacy policy. If you agree with it, touch
Agree & Continue
.
5. Touch
Sharing currently disabled
and select the
Enable location sharing
check box.
After you join Latitude, you can start sharing your locations with your friends. Only friends that
you have explicitly invited or accepted can see your location.
To open Latitude after joining:
1. Touch

2. From the Maps main screen, touch

on the top left of the screen, and then touch
Latitude
.
3. Select the following options.
 Touch
MAP VIEW
to see your friend on Google Maps.
 Touch to invite your friend to Latitude.
 Touch to sign in Latitude.
 Touch to refresh the friend list.
 Touch

Show stale friends/Hide stale friends
to show or hide the list of
friends who do not use Latitude regularly.

to configure your location settings.

Invite Friends
To share your location with friends and request to see their locations:
1. In Latitude, touch .
2. Choose how to add friends:

Select from Contacts:
Select any number of friends from contacts.

Add via email address:
Enter an email address and touch
Add friends

3. Confirm your friend is checked and touch
Yes
.
