The phone is receiving a signal. You can make and receive calls. Fewer bars indicate a weaker signal. The battery is fully charged.

Once connected, simply press and hold your phone’s Walkie-Talkie (WT) button to communicate. 4. Select Incoming Calls, Outgoing Calls, or Missed Calls. Highlight the contact you want to call. A message requesting that you be removed from the group is sent to your service provider. Your phone returns to the PTT menu.

When you accept a Call Waiting call, the following rules determine whether the phone uses the earpiece or the speakerphone for audio delivery. • By default, both calls are presented using the speaker setting that is effective for the first call.

Before you can place calls on hold, you must first record a message and enable the Hold Call feature. See “Setting the phone to hold calls” on this page. Setting the phone to hold calls The Hold Call setting allows you to place incoming calls on hold until you are ready to answer them.

In the Recent Calls list, the missed call is indicated with a flashing . • If the caller left a voicemail message, select Call. Setting missed call alerts You can set an alert to beep every five minutes after you have missed a call.

This action silences the current call only. The next call rings as normal. Adjusting the volume during a call • To adjust the earpiece volume during a call, press up or down. Locking the keypad The Keyguard locks your keypad to prevent accidental keypresses when the phone is turned on and a call is not in progress.

You cannot receive voice calls while the phone is in data/fax mode. For more information, see “Data settings” on page 51.
