You can receive, send, and erase messages from
your phone, depending on what is available in your
area. (Check with your service provider.)
The features and menus described in this
chapter may vary depending on services
available in your area.
New, unread messages are stored in your
qÉñí=
få_çñ
and appear in ÄçäÇ.
Once you have read a message, you can save it
to your
cáäÉÇ folder, erase it, or leave it in your
qÉñí=få_çñ.
Once you have sent or scheduled a message, it
is stored in your
qÉñí=lìí_çñ.
All of the following procedures start at the
home screen unless otherwise indicated.
oÉíêáÉîáåÖ=ãÉëë~ÖÉë
When a text message, page, or voicemail is
received, appears on your phone screen. The
flashes if the message is marked “Urgent.”
You can retrieve messages in any of the following
ways:
When a new message is received, press to
select
sáÉï or fÖåçêÉ from the bottom of the
screen.
Press
, or press and hold
to call your voicemail number.
kçíÉÔA voicemail number may have been
programmed into your phone for your
convenience. Check with your service provider.
Select
jÉåì jÉëë~ÖÉë sçáÅÉã~áä and
press .

NK Select jÉåì jÉëë~ÖÉë qÉñí=få_çñ.
OK Press up or down to scroll through the
list of messages.
PK Press to read a message. indicates an
“Urgent” message.
QK Read the message and select an option from the
bottom of the screen:
Ó oÉéäó to the sender, if their address is
available.
bê~ëÉ the current message.
