You can receive, send, and erase messages from
your phone, depending on what is available in your
area. (Check with your service provider.)
• The features and menus described in this
chapter may vary depending on services
available in your area.
• New, unread messages are stored in your
qÉñí=
få_çñ
and appear in ÄçäÇ.
• Once you have read a message, you can save it
to your
cáäÉÇ folder, erase it, or leave it in your
qÉñí=få_çñ.
• Once you have sent or scheduled a message, it
is stored in your
qÉñí=lìí_çñ.
• All of the following procedures start at the
home screen unless otherwise indicated.
oÉíêáÉîáåÖ=ãÉëë~ÖÉë
When a text message, page, or voicemail is
received, appears on your phone screen. The
flashes if the message is marked “Urgent.”
You can retrieve messages in any of the following
ways:
• When a new message is received, press to
select
sáÉï or fÖåçêÉ from the bottom of the
screen.
• Press
→ , or press and hold
to call your voicemail number.
kçíÉÔA voicemail number may have been
programmed into your phone for your
convenience. Check with your service provider.
• Select
jÉåì → jÉëë~ÖÉë → sçáÅÉã~áä and
press .

NK Select jÉåì → jÉëë~ÖÉë → qÉñí=få_çñ.
OK Press up or down to scroll through the
list of messages.
PK Press to read a message. indicates an
“Urgent” message.
QK Read the message and select an option from the
bottom of the screen:
Ó oÉéäó to the sender, if their address is
available.

bê~ëÉ the current message.
