The shortcut key accessed by pressing up
may have been set up by your service provider.
Complete the following steps to modify it:
NK Select jÉåì → pÉííáåÖë → aáëéä~ó →
pÜçêíÅìí hÉó.
OK Select a shortcut key option from the list.
This shortcut key can now be used by pressing
up from the home screen.
kçíÉÔIf you select kçåÉI=you can reset the
shortcut key and assign a new option to it by
following the steps in “To create a shortcut key” on
page 7.

• Press twice.
qç=ë~îÉ=~=éÜçåÉ=åìãÄÉê
NK From the home screen, enter the phone
number you want to save.
OK Press to p~îÉ=kÉï.
PK Enter a name. If you need to know how to use
the keypad to enter letters, see page 15.
QK Press to p~îÉ.
qç=ëÉí=~=ëéÉÉÇ=Çá~äáåÖ=äçÅ~íáçå
NK Open a saved contact (to create a contact, see
“To save a phone number”).
OK Select the phone number to assign to a speed
dialing location.
PK Select péÉÉÇ=aá~äáåÖ.
QK Select a speed dialing location between 2 and
99. (Location 1 is reserved for your voicemail
number.)
RK Press to ^ëëáÖå.

• From the home screen, enter the one- or two-
digit speed dialing number and press .
