O _^qqbov Your phone comes with an internal/removable lithium ion (LiIon) battery. To learn how to install the battery, see page 1. recharge the battery at any time, even if it has a partial charge. When the phone is in powersave mode, you cannot make or receive calls, and “Power Save Mode” and appear on the screen.

The following functions drain the battery more quickly, and adversely affect talk and standby times: • Backlighting is frequently on. (Check with your service provider.) • The features and menus described in this chapter may vary depending on services available in your area. • New, unread messages are stored in your qÉñí= få_çñ and appear in ÄçäÇ. • Once you have read a message, you can save it to your cáäÉÇ folder, erase it, or leave it in your qÉñí=få_çñ.

One of the following symbols appears next to each message: The message is pending and will be sent when possible. You can cancel delivery of the message. C The message is scheduled to be sent at a scheduled time. You cannot cancel delivery of the message. The message cannot be sent because service is not available. An alert appears on your phone if the message cannot be sent.
PK Press to select the message to erase. QK Select bê~ëÉ to erase the message. OK The phone searches for contacts with names beginning with the letters you entered. Matching contacts appear on the screen. PK Press up or down through the list to find the contact you want. QK Press to call the contact. kçíÉÔSpeed dial locations matching the numbers you entered appear first.
