Vibration function
The cordless analog controller features a vibration function. For details, refer to
software manual and software option screen.
The vibration function will automatically stop when the battery level is low and
the red LED indicator flashes.
Please turn off the cordless analog controller and disconnect the receiver unit from
the PlayStation
®
2 console when the cordless analog controller is not in use.
Before using the vibration function, please read the following notes on safety
when using the cordless controller.
Notes on safety (Vibration function)
Stop using this controller immediately if you begin to feel tired or if you
experience discomfort or pain in your hands and/or arms while operating the
cordless analog controller. If the condition persists, consul a doctor.
Do not attempt to operate the controller in any way except with your hands. Do
not bring the cordless analog controller into close contact with your head, face or
near the bones of any other part of your body.
The vibration function of the cordless analog controller can aggravate injuries.
Do not use if you have any ailment in the bones or joints of your hands or arms.
Do not use if you have injuries or ailments to the bones or muscles of your
fingers, hands, wrists or arms. The vibration of the cordless analog controller
may aggravate such conditions.
Avoid prolonged use of the cordless analog controller. Take a break at about 30
minute intervals.
Power saving function
1. Press the POWER button on the cordless analog controller to turn it off when not
in use to extend battery runtime.
2. When the PlayStation
®
2 console is turned off, the cordless analog controller will
activate the power saving function. Press any button on the cordless analog
controller to return to standby mode.
