ThePC3KusesthechannelofthetrackspecifiedforFXTr ack astheAuxFXchannel.
DrumTrack
Anyofthesong’strackscanbedefinedasDrumTrackssothattheirNoteeventsdonotget
transposedwhenatranspositionisappliedwhenusingthetrackasariffinasetup(see
Riffs on page 755andTranspose/RootNote on page 757.)Withtracksdesignatedasdrumtracks,
youcan
transposeawholesongthatisbeingusedasariff,butthedrumtrackswillcontinueto
playthecorrectsoundsthattheyplayedintheoriginalkey.Otherwise,thedrumsoundswould
changewitheachtransposition.
Usethecursorbuttonstoselectatracknumber.Youcanaccess8
tracksatonce,eithertracks18
or916.UsetheChan/Layerbuttonstotheleftofthedisplaytoselectoneofthetracks18
(viewedinthetoprightcornerofthepage)inordertoaccesstracks18,orselectoneofthe
tracks
916toaccesstracks916.WiththedesiredtracknumberselectedintheDrumTrkfield,
usetheAlphaWheelor‐/+buttonstotogglebetweenD,todesignatethetrackasadrumtrack,
ortodesignatethetrackasanondrumtrack.
TheDrumTracks
settingsdonothaveanyeffectoneditsmadeontheTRACKpageintheSong
Editor.AnytracksdefinedasDrumTracksare transposedwhenatranspositionisappliedto
thesetracksfromtheTRACKpage.
MidiDst
TheMIDIdataoneachtrackhasadestinationassignmentselectablewiththeTrackDest
parameter.Therearefourpossibleindicators:
L=Local.Thetrack’sMIDIdatawillbetransmittedlocallyonly,tothePC3K’sinternalsound
generator.Noneofthetrack’sMIDIdatawillbesenttotheUSBor
MIDIOutport.
M=MIDI.Thetrack’sMIDIdatawillbetransmittedonlytothe MIDIOut.
U=USBMIDI.Thetrack’sMIDIdatawillbetransmittedonlytotheUSBport.
