quantization.

TheSTATSpageisadisplay‐onlypagethatshowsthestatusofthePC3K eventpool.Theevent
poolisusedbyallthesequencesloadedatagiventimeinthesystem.Theseinclude:thecurrent
song,thecomparesongbuffer,andupto16riffs.
TheSTATSpage
shownbelowisthestateofthePC3Keventpoolwith0*NewSong*selected,
andnootheruserobjectsloadedinanyothermodes:
TheeventsinthePC3Karesimilartoeventsofothersequencerswithasinglemajordifference:
theNoteeventsarestoredasasinglebigevent,
i.e.,onePC3KNoteeventiscomprisedofthe
note‐onandnote‐offevents.AllothereventsarestoredassingleeventsonthePC3K.
ThefieldsontheSTATSpageare:
• Max–themaximumnumberofnotes/eventsinmemory.
• Used–thetota lnumberofnotes/eventsbeingused.
•
Free–thenumberofnotes/eventsthatarefree.
• Part.–thenumberofpartitionedevents,whichareeventsforwhichspaceinmemoryis
allocated.Thisistechnicalinformationofimportanceonlytoengineers(andmaybeafew
powerusers).
• Song–thetotalnumberofevents(includingnotes)in
thecurrentsong.
• Temp–thetotalnumberofeventsinthetempbuffer(thetempbufferisusedwhen
grabbingeventsfromadifferentsong).
• Riffs1–16–thetotalnumberofeventsineachriff.
