Song Mode: The METRONOME Page
Metronome
Thisparameterdeterminestherecordingmodesinwhichthemetronomeplays.With
MetronomesettoOff,themetronomeneverplays.WithMetronomesettoRec,themetronome
onlyplaysduringrecording.WithMetronomesettoAlways,themetronomeplaysduring
playbackandrecording.WithMetronomesettoCountOff,the
metronomeplaysonlyduring
countoff(iftheCountOffparameterissettosomethingotherthanOff.)
CountOff
ThisparameterdeterminesthenumberofmeasuresthePC3Kwillcountoffbeforerecording.
WithStartOnlyselected,thePC3Kwillonlycountoffatthebeginningofasequence.With
Alwaysselected,thePC3Kwillcountofffromanypointinasequence.
Program
Thisparameterdeterminestheprogramwithwhichthemetronomeisplayed.Ifyouwanteda
pianoforametronome,forinstance,youcouldsetProgramtoapianoprogram.Thedefault
programis998ClickTrack .
Channel
ThisparameterdeterminestheMIDIchanneltowhichthemetronomeprogramandeventsare
sent.
Strong Note
ThisparameterdeterminestheMIDInumberofthenoteplayedbythemetronomeforthe
downbeats(the“1”ofeachmeasure).
Strong Vel
Thisparameterdeterminesthevelocityofthenoteplayedbythemetronomeforthedownbeats
(the“1”ofeachmeasure).
Soft Note
ThisparameterdeterminestheMIDInumberofthenoteplayedbythemetronomeforthe
upbeats(the“2,”“3,”and“4”ofeachmeasure).
Soft Vel
Thisparameterdeterminesthevelocityofthenoteplayedbythemetronomefortheupbeats
(the“2,”“3,”and“4”ofeachmeasure).
The Rec, Play, and Stop Soft Buttons
ThesesoftbuttonsfunctionasdescribedinTheRec,Play,andStopSoftButtons on page 12‐7.
The Done Soft Button
IfnochangesweremadeintheMETRONOMEpage,pressingtheDonesoftbuttoncallsupthe
MAINpage.Ifchangesweremade,pressingtheDonesoftbuttoncallsupthe“SaveChanges”
dialog.
