Pitcher
Pitcherappliesafiltertotheinputsignalwhichhasaseriesofpeaksinthefrequencyresponse.
Thesepeaksarenormallyadjustedsothattheirfrequenciesareallmultiplesofaspecific,
selectablefrequency,whichimposesastrongsenseofpitchattheselectedfundamental
frequency.
Pitch.Thefundamentalpitch
imposedupontheinput,inMIDInotenumbersfromC‐1toG9.
PtchOffstisanoffsetfromthepitchfrequencyinsemitones,from‐12.0to12.0.Itcanbeuseful
toassignpitchbend,aribbon,oranothercontinuouscontrollertothisparameterthrougha
MOD.
OddWts,Pair
Wts,QuartrWts,HalfWtsareparametersthatcontroltheshapeofthe
frequencyresponseofPitcher.Anexactdescriptionofwhateachonedoesis,unfortunately,

Ring Modulation
Ringmodulationmultipliestwosignals(the“carrier”andthe“modulator”)togethertoproduce
unusual,oftennon‐harmonic,overtones.TheRingModulatoreffectinthePC3Khastwomodes:
“L*R”inwhichtwomonosignalsaremodulatedtogether;and“Osc”,inwhichtheinputis
stereo,anditismodulated
withthesumoffivewaveformsthataregeneratedfromoscillators
withintheeffectitself.Fouroftheseoscillatorsaresinewaves,whileone(Oscillator 1)offersa
selectionofwaveforms.
Wet/Dry.Whentheeffectisin“L*R”mode,thiscontrolshowmuchoftheleftsignalonlyis
passeddry
(therightsignalisn’tpasseddryatall).
ModModeselectsbetweenthetwomodes.
Osc1LvlisthelevelofOscillator1,from0to100%.
Osc1FreqisthefrequencyofOscillator1,from16to25088Hz.
Osc1ShapeisthewaveshapeofOscillator1,selectablefromSine,Saw+,
Saw‐,Pulse,andTri.
Osc1PlsWid(PulseWidth).WhenOsc1ShapeissettoPulse,thissetsthepulsewidthasa
percentageofthewaveformperiod.Whenthewidthissetto50%,theresultisasquarewave.
Thisparameterhasnoeffectifotherwaveformtypesarechosen.
Rangeis0to100%.
Osc1Smoothsmooths(removesthehigherharmonicsfrom)theSaw+,Saw‐,andPulse
waveforms.ASawtoothwavebecomesmorelikeatrianglewave,and aPulsewavebecomes
morelikeasinewave.Rangeis0to100%.
Theotherfouroscillators,Sine2throughSine5,each
haveLvlandFreqcontrols.
Stereo Simulation
TheMonotoStereoeffectconvertsamonauralinputtosimulatedstereooutput.
InSelectselectstheinputsignaltobe“stereo‐ized”.ItcanbeLeft,Right,orboth:(L+R)/2.
CenterGainisthelevelofthesummedleftandrightchannels.RangeisOff/‐79.0to24.0dB.
DiffGainis
thelevelofthedifferencesignalproduced,whichisthespatialcomponentofthe
stereosignal.RangeisOff/‐79.0to24.0dB.
