TheKeyClickfeatureaddsadecayingburstofpitchednoisetotheattackofnotes.Unlikethe
percussion,thekeyclickis“multi‐triggered,”whichmeansthateverynewnotewilltriggerit.
Theparametersonthispageprimarilycontrolthedecay,volume,andpitchofthekeyclick.
KeyClick
ThisiswhereyouturnKeyClickonoroff.WithKeyClicksettoOff,youmaystillhearaclick
dependingonyourNoteAttackandNoteReleasesettings(seebelow.)
Volume
Thisparametersetsthelevelofthekeyclick;thenoisedecaysfromthelevelyousethere.This
levelisscaledbythedrawbarlevels,aswellastheexpressionpedallevel.Keyclickvolumecan
alsobescaledbyMIDICC89;value0=‐96dB,value127=the
levelsetforthe
Volum e parameter.Valuesbetween0and127scalebetween‐96dBandthelevelsetforthe
Volum e parameter.WhenusingCC89,thevaluedisplayedfortheVolu me parameterwillnot
change.
Decay
Setsthebasicdecaytimeofthenoiseenvelope.Smallervaluesproduceashorterburst.
VelTrk
Controlsthedegreetowhichkeyvelocityaffectsthekeyclickvolume.Avalueofzeromeans
thatthekeyvelocityhasnoeffectonthekeyclickvolume(whichislikearealtonewheelorgan).
Othervaluesaddvolumeasthevelocityincreases.
