Percussionisacharacteristicfeatureoftonewheelorgans.It’sespeciallyuseful whilesoloing,
sincepercussionaddsanextra“plink”(actuallyanextratoneatadefinedharmonic)tothe
attack.YoucanreachthepercussionparametersbypressingthePerc1andPerc2softbuttons.
Percussion
Thisiswhereyouturnthepercussioneffectonoroff.Percussioniscreatedbyadecaying
envelopeappliedtooneoftheninedrawbars.Thepercussioneffectis“single‐triggered,”which
meansthatonceit’striggered,itwon’ttriggeragainuntilallkeys(orwhateveryou’ reusingto
triggernotes)
goup.Soifnokeysaredown,andyouplayachord,percussiongetsappliedtoall
notesinthechord(andinfact,toallnotesthataretriggeredduringtheshortdurationofthe
percussionenvelope).Oncetheenveloperunsitscourse,anynotesyouplaywhile
atleastone
keyishelddowngetnopercussion.YoucanturnpercussiononoroffbypressingBankbutton5
