Press the LYR_FX soft button to call up the Layer FX (LYR_FX) page. On this page, you can
apply layer-specic eects. ere are three Layer FX Modes: Use Program FX, Layer-Specic
FX, and Use Another Layer’s FX.
LAYER FX Page Parameters
Use Program FX Mode
With Use Program FX Mode selected, the current layer will use the eects congured on the
Program FX (FX) page. See The FX Page for more information on program FX.
Layer-Specic FX Mode
With Layer-Specic FX selected, you can congure the eects for the current layer. is
mode’s parameters are similar to those of the FX page. is mode is shown in the following
display:
All of the Layer-Specic FX mode parameters have the same functions and ranges of values
as their corresponding parameters on the FX page. See The FX Page for more information on
these parameters.
Use Another Layer’s FX Mode
With Use Another Layer’s FX selected, you can put the current layer through the eects of
another layer. You can specify the layer through whose eects you wish to put the current
layer.
