8.7 Event count
Figure 72: Screen ‘Event count’
A problematic DP Slave, detected by the event log, can be
examined in detail by the Event count function. The function
event count displays in principle the same events as the Event
log, but the status changes of the DP Slave can be analysed in
detail. The following events are counted (0 - 99999):
DATA_XCHG_RES (DATA)
- Station is in state DATA_EXCHANGE.
NO_RESPONSE (DATA)
- DP Slave doest not respond.
SET_PRM_REQ (CFG)
- DP Slave was parameterized.
CHK_CFG_REQ (CFG)
- DP Slave was configured.
SLV_DIAG_REQ (DIA)
- Diagnostic messages occur at the DP Slave.
TRY (DATA)
- Number of repeated requests by the DP Master until
the DP Slave responds.
ERR (DATA)
- Error Telegram upon request by the DP Master.
By means of the key the event count display can be reset.
The event log is updated by pressing the key or after
expiration of the adjusted event update time (see chapter 8.9).
