In the following the online functions Tests with PLC are listed:

The DP Slave oriented signal level measurement can be
very time-consuming in connection with low baud rates or
low data traffic.
The NetTEST II can be connected directly to a free
PROFIBUS plug in the network. Also, connection between a
PROFIBUS plug and the respective DP Slave via an adapter
cable (PROFIBUS Y-cable, see accessories) is possible. In
general, you should exercise care in connecting the
NetTEST II to running bus systems. At higher baud rates
( 1.5 Mbit) spur lines are strictly forbidden, because the data
traffic may be significantly disrupted.
