6.4 Send File to NetTEST II
There are three kinds of files you can sent to the NetTEST II:
e.g. GSD files, parameter data sets and firmware updates.
Follow the procedure below:
 Connect NetTEST II via the available serial cable
connector with the COM interface defined in the terminal
program.
 Start the configured terminal program on your PC.
 In the terminal program click on Transfer–Send file
 Indicate in the browser opening now the directory where
the file to be sent is stored. Set the transmission protocol to
Kermit.
 Set NetTEST II to ready for reception in the
corresponding menu, either for Firmware Update (5.2.3.7)
or Receive GSD File (5.2.4.2).
 Start the transmission from your PC to NetTEST II (Send
with HyperTerminal).

The firmware update may not be interrupted. Therefore
please plug in a new battery in the NetTEST II. The
whole procedure takes approx. 12 min. with a set baud
rate of 19.200 Baud.
