5.2.4.2 Receive GSD File
To prepare reception of GSD files sent from a PC, the
following steps must be performed:
 Start your terminal program on your PC
 Settings of the terminal program analogous to settings of
NetTEST II (see chapter 5.2.3.1 and 6)
 Connection of NetTEST II and the PC via the attached
serial cable connector
 Prepare NetTEST II for reception of GSD file (Receive
GSD File)
 Then select by means of the function Send file of the
terminal function, via the available browser, the GSD file
and send it by means of the protocol setting “Kermit” to
the NetTEST II.
5.2.4.3 Delete GSD File
Delete GSD File serves for the deletion of GSD contents no
longer needed. Selection is made by means of the keys.
5.2.4.4 Display / Edit
To gain an overview over the already existing GSD files in the
data base, the contents can be viewed via Display / Edit.
